Welcome to the laboratory technician position for sample collection tasks in the Meilahti hospital area!

HUS Diagnostic Center is Finland's leading provider of clinical laboratory and imaging services. Our main area of activity is the HUS Group's specialized care and the basic health care of the wellbeing regions belonging to HUS. We also respond to the laboratory and imaging operations of the Kymenlaakso and South Karelia wellbeing regions.

We operate in eight medical specialties. We are nationally responsible for several highly specialized studies and for research and teaching belonging to the university hospital. Diagnostic studies play a central role in confirming, ruling out diseases, as part of treatment, and in monitoring and screening. About 3,300 laboratory and imaging specialists work at HUS Diagnostic Center across more than 150 sites.

We are now looking for a laboratory technician for sample collection tasks at the New Children's Hospital and Women's Clinic sample collection. The job is a three-shift work.

Your job mainly consists of sample collection tasks, but at the New Children's Hospital you will also perform venous tests and blood gas analyses. Your sample collection work includes many patient encounters during the workday. In the daily work of a sample collector, you are supported by professional colleagues and supervisors.
