About the service
Finland Jobs is an AI-powered job search tool for the Finnish market. You upload your CV, the AI analyses and scores it, searches for matching jobs from Finnish job boards, and generates a tailored CV and cover letter for each application you want to send. The goal is to improve the quality of your applications — not just the volume.
Yes. Finland Jobs is currently completely free. No subscription, no trial period, no credit card. All features — CV analysis, job search, tailored CV suggestions — are available at no cost to all registered users.
Yes, an account is required to upload your CV and search for jobs. Registration takes under a minute — with email, Google, or LinkedIn. Your account keeps your CV analysis, job results, and tailored CV versions all in one place.
Yes. Every job-finder page has an AI assistant that can see your real situation — your CV score, strengths, weaknesses, and job matches — rather than giving generic answers. Ask it why your score is low or what a match percentage means for your own CV.
CV & Scoring
The score is based on five sections with different weights:
35% Work Experience — Relevance, achievements, and duration
20% Skills — Technical depth and tool proficiency
20% Summary — Clarity and keyword use
15% Education — Relevance to the Finnish market
10% Contact Info — Email, phone, location present
Total is 0–100. Above 70 is strong, 50–70 is good, below 50 needs work.

The AI evaluates your CV based on its text content. Common reasons for a lower score: a weak or missing summary, listing duties instead of achievements, few technical skills mentioned, or missing contact details. Try re-uploading after improving your CV — you get up to 3 analyses per day.
We accept PDF and DOCX (Word) files. Maximum file size is 5 MB. PDF is recommended as text extraction is more accurate.
You can choose from 6 professionally designed templates — from a bold Nordic-style header to a minimal, black-and-white layout built to be safe for automated ATS recruiter systems. You can preview and switch between them before downloading.
Yes. For any job you're applying to, the AI can generate a complete, job-specific cover letter — written to reference that employer and role directly, not a generic template. Download it as a PDF alongside your tailored CV.
Yes. On your CV Profile page you can upload your own photo and use a checkbox to include or leave it out of your generated CVs. This matters because photo conventions vary by country and industry — the choice is yours, not forced either way.
Yes. Each job keeps up to 3 CV versions and 3 cover letter versions, each timestamped and downloadable again at any time. The CV History page shows every job you've ever tailored for in one place, and you can delete a version you no longer need.
Job Matching
For Finland, we search Työmarkkinatori — Finland's official government job market — first, since its listings are the most current and verified. If that doesn't return enough results for your keywords, we automatically fall back to CareerJet, JSearch (which aggregates Indeed, LinkedIn, and Glassdoor), Jooble, and Duunitori's RSS feed. For EU/Global scope we use RemoteOK, Jobicy, and Arbeitnow. All results are merged, deduplicated, and scored against your CV.
The match percentage (0–100%) shows how well the job description's requirements align with your CV's strengths and skills. Above 70% is a strong match. 50–70% is good — worth applying but tailor your CV. Below 50% means something key is missing from your profile for that role.
Finland is a small job market (~5.5 million people), so there are fewer open positions than in larger countries. Try switching to EU or Global scope for a wider pool, or update your search keywords to better match your CV.
Yes. The "Add a Job" feature lets you paste in any posting you've found — including from outside our own search. If it's in Finnish, the "Translate to English" button translates it with AI instantly (up to 5 times a day by default), so you can evaluate it and tailor your CV against it.
Privacy & Data
Yes. Your CV is stored securely and linked only to your account. It is not shared with employers, not sold to third parties, and not used to train external AI models. The AI analysis uses your CV text for scoring and data extraction — nothing else.
CV analysis data is automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity. Your account and profile remain as long as your account is active. You can request full deletion of all your data at any time.
You can delete your CV at any time from the dashboard. To request full account deletion, use the GDPR request page. All data is removed within 30 days of the request.
Technical
Analysis takes 15–30 seconds. If the page doesn't refresh automatically, wait a moment then refresh manually. If the error persists, check: is the file PDF or DOCX? Is it under 5 MB? Try uploading again. If the issue continues, contact support.
Most common reasons: 1) Your CV profile isn't confirmed — confirm your profile first. 2) Your search keywords are too narrow — try adding or changing keywords. 3) Your daily search limit is used up (5 searches/day) — try again tomorrow. 4) External job APIs may be temporarily down — try again later.
